El Nido Lagen Resort

Lagen Island Resort, referring to a pair of eco-El Nido Resorts, is located in the northern part of Palawan, and has welcomed guests for over 20 years. The area of El Nido is a showcase of geology and wildlife of Palawan. El Nido gets its name from the nests of birds of Filipino-salangan living here in the crevices of limestone rocks. From their nests (po-isp “nido”) prepare delicious soup “El Nido”. The magnificent limestone cliffs as if guarding the clean sea water, inhabited by hundreds of species of tropical fish and coral, as well as three types of rare sea turtles facing extinction. In the tropical forests of El Nido, more than 100 species of birds are living, many of them are found only on Palawan.
